Old Town Camper 16
The Old Town Camper 16 is a light weight touring canoe. Old Town have used Royalex to construct the Camper 16. Royalex is a multi-laminate composed of ABS plastic layers, ABS foam and crosslinked vinyl. This creats an Ultra light weight canoe with excellent strength. The Camper is a little wider than other canoes and so gains some stability. This makes the Old Town Camper 16 a good canoe to learn to paddle in or as an instructor canoe. It can be easily transported on a car roof rack making it ideal for tripping and touring.
