The Robson Kona is an all-round Sit on Top Kayak new for 2007.
The Kona has been designed to handle some surfing as well as flat-water touring. Its hull shape will allow a paddler to carve the Kona along the face of a wave. The Kona has a keel-like ridge running down the length of the hull which allows even a first time paddler to keep the boat in a straight line. The stability of the boat along with its predictability also makes it suitable for beginners. The Robson Kona is short enough that storage and transport are simple, but it has enough length to cover some distance for the more adventurous paddler. Behind the seat area you have ample storage space for a dry bag for your day equipment. An optional backrest provides a better paddling position and the addition of thigh straps will give more control for the paddler wanting to try surfing.
