Old Town Penobscot 174 Canoe
The Penobscot 174 (previously called the Allagash 174) is the best Old Town Canoe for family paddling. The extra length increases the load capacity so there is plenty of space for children and kit. This canoe is a triple skin construction with two webbing seats as standard representing good value for money. The Penobscot is best suited to canals, lakes, sheltered water and slow moving rivers. It can be paddled solo, tandem or tandem with two youngsters. This canoe is ideal for recreational touring.
Additional snap-in seats are also available to use with the Penobscot making it a very versatile craft.
The Old Town Penobscot 174 is constructed from PolyLink3™ roto-moulded plastic.
