Nova Craft Prospector 15 Canoe
The Prospector 15 is the smallest of the Prospector series of Canadian-style Canoes from Nova Craft. It retains the handling of the larger Prospectors but is a little bit more responsive. This 15-foot open canoe is a good choice for paddlers who want a boat for touring but who don't necessarily need the extra space and volume of the larger canoes in the series. The Prospector 15 is well-suited to Recreational paddling and river touring. For the more experienced paddler it will also handle White Water.

The Prospector 15 is available in either Royalex or Royalex Lite. Royalex is an ABS plastic with a central core of expanded closed cell foam. This makes it both lightweight and strong. Royalex Lite is not quite as durable as standard Royalex, but is lighter in weight. If you intend to use the canoe in shallow and rough water, consider the standard Royalex. For lakes and deep rivers then the Lite version could be an option.
