The Malibu Kayaks Extreme is a low profile and fast touring and fishing kayak. This sit on top kayak has channels in the hull for better tracking and improved rigidity. Those who have some previous paddling experience will get the most out of this kayak - the low profile means you are likely to have a wetter ride, particularly in choppy water. However the Extreme is less prone to being affected by the wind and the drift will be slower than many kayaks of this size. Fit an Apex Seat (see image below) and a bait well and the Malibu Extreme becomes the ideal fishing platform. Or replace the front hatch with the Malibu Gator hatch to gain a child seat with the option to add a further two rod holders to the hatch.
