The i-Series inflatable kayaks from Hobie build on the success of the pedal powered sit on top kayaks and apply the same excellent design features to the world of inflatables. The i14T is a tandem kayak with 2 fully adjustable, self-bailing seating positions. It is also supplied with 2 split paddles which can be stored neatly on the sides of the kayak when not needed. Add to this an optional sail kit and you can pedal, paddle or sit back and let the wind do the work. Other standard features include a kick-up hand controlled rudder and a forward storage hatch - all of which packs up neatly into a rolling travel bag. When fully inflated the i14T kayak is remarkably stable and with 2 people pedalling the MirageDrive system it is also surprisingly fast.

The Hobie Mirage Drive System is simple to use, removable, quiet and produces no splashing. The pedals are connected to fins which mimic the action of a penguin's flippers - this moves the kayak more quickly than traditional means using the stronger muscles of your legs rather than your arms. Pedalling leaves your hands free which means Hobie kayaks are ideal for pursuits such as fishing or photography.
